Personal Assistant Vacancies

Would you like the opportunity to work for and assist a disabled person on a one to one basis to have choice and control in their life and live independently within their own home and the community?

Do you enjoy the company of people, are you reliable, able to work flexibly, have good communication skills and willing to learn how to meet the individual needs of the person you are assisting?

Personal Assistant duties may include assisting with personal care, assistance with social and educational opportunities and accessing community facilities. Hours and wage rates vary depending on the individual needs of the employer, available hours or job description. A driving licence or previous experience is not essential unless otherwise stated.

Deaf Education Advocacy Fellowship

The Deaf Education Advocacy Fellowship are looking for volunteers to undertake the following roles:

• Volunteer Coordinator
• Sales and Marketing
• Administrator
• Trainer
• Ambassador
• Youth Worker (children and young people)
• Employment and Education Consultant
• Filming
• Graduate Scheme

The Volunteer Coordinator / Sales & Marketing & Administrator roles are essentially full time positions - but can be split between 2 or 3 individuals.

The Deaf Education Advocacy Fellowship would like people who are committed and can help them to make a difference.

Trafford CIL Limited is a disabled people’s user led organization which aims to support and enable deaf and disabled people in Trafford to live independently and to play an active role in all aspects of society. It is a social enterprise with an organizational ethos based on the Social Model of Disability. The organization is currently in the process of registering as a Company Limited by Guarantee with Charity Registration.
