Funding Confirmed for CIL FM!

Trafford CIL is thrilled to announce that we have been granted funding to launch our online radio station, CIL FM!

This will be a volunteer initiative designed at widening the scope of our work with and for Trafford residents. We are looking at an April launch for the service, which will initially host around 4 hours per week of content. We are currently recruiting volunteers in the following areas:

• Presenting
• Writing
• Editing and Producing
• Marketing
• Promotions
• Web team

The initial shows that we will look to produce will be:

• A weekly 'New Bands' music show
• A weekly current affairs show talking about local disability issues
• A poetry/new writing show
• A weekly radio play

We are currently putting systems in place and developing final plans for CIL FM. We will seek to support all volunteers to complete their roles and and to develop new skills.
