Putting the Community First
Trafford Direct is a service set up by Trafford Council to provide its
residents and visitors with a friendly and easy way to access the services they
need. This is whether you choose to contact the Council in person, by telephone,
letter or by e-mail.
Trafford Direct staff are well trained and have a wide-ranging knowledge of
all council services.
Trafford Direct has offices in Altrincham, Old Trafford, Partington, Sale,
Stretford and Urmston, each providing services tailored to that particular area,
in a welcoming and easily accessed environment. The Contact Centre on 0161 912
2000 gives all telephone callers access to a wide ranging Council information
service and a one-point contact with all Council departments.
Trafford Direct staff value all their customers and will treat every enquiry
individually. They will offer help until clients feel their query has been
resolved satisfactorily. To help the staff provide this individual service, we
have installed hearing loops and access to an interpreting service through
Language Line. All our ground floor offices have easy access for wheelchair
users and clients with sensory impairments or walking difficulties.
