Mission Statement
Trafford Council is committed to the principles of the Social Model of
Disability, recognising that it is social and physical barriers that all
disabled people face (and not physical or sensory impairment). Trafford Council
is committed to remove these barriers and provide full access to study and
employment. The purpose of this website is to enable disabled people and carers
in Trafford to get information on work and learning opportunities. It also aims
to provide sources of information to employers about employing disabled people.
