One Stop Resource Centre
If you believe you need an assessment for equipment or home adaptations your first step is to contact the One Stop Resource Centre on their Equipment and Adaptations Advice Line. The telephone is staffed by a member of the occupational therapy assessment team. They will take your details and advise you of possible options which may include arranging an appointment for a home visit/assessment. Appointments are allocated on a priority basis and it may be some time before an occupational therapist can visit you. Please ask when calling how long the current waiting time is.
Alternatively, if you prefer to purchase your own equipment immediately, staff will be able to signpost you to an accredited retailer.
